The joys (and unexpected frustrations) of raising children

Anybody who has children will completely relate to most everything in this post. While children are amazing and I love them with all my heart, it can be extremely difficult sometimes! Not in the sense that you dislike your children, by any means, but more of the fact that you cannot believe what just happened.

Let me tell you a story about when my lovely kids decided it would be a good idea to obliterate my brand new computer…

First of all, we just bought a new computer from Dell and were totally in love with it in every way. It was fast, it was clean, and it was everything we needed! I went to make lunch and told them they could play Club Penguin while I was gone. BIG mistake on my part.

I’m sure you’ve seen the annoying pop-up windows that show up seemingly out of nowhere? I’m thinking this is what happened here and my kids didn’t know any better so they just kept clicking around. Long story short – they installed a virus (or some other garbage that just annoys people and damages computers). Apparently it was the csrss.exe virus and it wouldn’t stop showing up. I quickly called my husband (he’s in the software industry) and he explained I should do a quick search on Google to see what it said – he wasn’t 100% sure if it was a real virus or not. This is one of the first things that came up when I searched csrss:

I thought it was pretty helpful but it still didn’t completely solve my issue. It gave me a few pointers about how to get rid of it (hopefully) and ways to remove it, so I started there. I also did some additional research to see if I could find something else out.

The same company that released that video on YouTube has a very detailed article here: about the csrss file and what causes it, how to fix it, and ways to prevent it.

Super helpful post and it will allow my computer to start running happy and smoothly again – unless something crazy happens.

Basically, my whole point of this post is to relay to any other parents out there: you aren’t alone! We all go through crazy things (hence the name of my site…) and we will all get through it. As a mom with boys and talking to parents with girls, I’ve heard the best and worst of both.

If you have any crazy (funny, frustrating, happy, exciting, whatever…) stories about your kids, leave me a comment or send me an email. I’d be glad to read about them and discuss with you. After all, shouldn’t we be in this together? There’s no point in going at it alone when you can have a support system by your side to help with things when the times get tough.

I really hope you have a wonderful day, and if you want to see any specific content here, let me know as well. I have plenty of stories to write about, so don’t worry!
